Our Pros

Sandi Goodman
Sandi Goodman
Regional Director

“I am delighted to have joined a company that I have watched grow and flourish since its inception and truly love being an invaluable resource to my clients.”

After progressive positions in restaurants and a move from Montreal to Toronto, Sandi took a job managing a restaurant at a new hotel in Markham.  She started in banquets and catering and then moved to sales where she found her true calling.   Sandi’s sales experience with independent properties and Four Seasons as well as her national account experience with Delta Hotels for almost twenty years is a great addition to the team.

When Sandi is not at work you can find her at the soccer field, hockey rink or at home with her family savouring the moments of her most important role as “Mom” to two teenagers.

Sandi’s motto “Do what you love, love what you do”.

My favorite part of the job - is getting to know amazing clients and working with terrific hotel professionals.   I love identifying our client’s needs and thrive on finding ideal venues for our clients to consider.

My favorite food as a child - Potatoes.  Any kind of potatoes, prepared in any way, eaten at any time, with anything!  So versatile, so delicious, so satisfying…potatoes are still one of my favorite foods!  If I had to choose a favorite……..it would be fresh cut fries!

The person I admire most - My paternal grandmother Mary.  Mary immigrated from Russia just before the first world war started.   As the oldest of seven kids, she arrived not speaking a word of English and carved out a meaningful and rewarding life for herself and her family.   She was as industrious as she was loving and when settling into a small town near Edmonton, made barrels of sauerkraut to help support her family.  Her husband, my grandfather was a doctor and my grandmother used to make all the food for the patients in the hospital where he worked.  Mary was an amazing, strong, determined and loving woman, the matriarch of our family.

My favorite childhood memory - Our family trips to Plattsburgh, New York.  We would head from Montreal across the border to spend the day at the beach.  We would eat Lays potato chips and Danone yoghurt (a real treat since at that time you could only get them in the states) and enjoy the day on the water.  We would then go to a drive-in movie and our parents would spread blankets out in the “back back” of our station wagon.  When we arrived home late at night, whether we were asleep or not, my sister and I would always pretend to be sleeping so our Dad would carry us into the house!
