Grace’s career spans over twenty years in the hotel industry including sales positions at Fairmont, Delta, and Starwood brands.  She has extensive experience in selling, business development and training, with a strong focus on customer solutions.  Her expertise in hospitality has given her the strength to excel in administration, proposals and contracts.  She has a passion for service excellence, a keen eye for the smallest of details and has mastered the skill of multi-tasking with the help of her three children. 

Grace has become accustomed to balancing work and family life, adapting to change and constantly striving for organized harmony…which comes from eating too much chocolate!  When she is not on a computer, being a taxi driver, skipping rope or building lego, Grace enjoys quality family time, travelling, enjoying the outdoors and capturing all these moments on camera.  She loves scrapbooking, and is truly grateful for all her blessings.

Why did you choose the meetings and conventions industry as a career - Originally, I wanted to get into Human Resources and fell into ‘hotel sales’ by chance and it has been by far the best journey to be on.  It has given me the opportunity to interact with so many great hotel partners, experience various travel destinations and assist our clients with their meeting needs in the best way I know how.

What is your favourite childhood memory - Travelling to Florida by van with too many family members after my dad placed our sofa and chair into the back so we could ride more comfortably…. seat belts were not mandatory nor was the need to rent an RV apparently!

If you could only keep 4 possessions, what would they be - My pillow, cell phone, memory box (more like a trunk), hand cream.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be - I would like to learn to play an instrument, one with soothing music to calm the soul.
