David has spent 30 years in the hospitality industry, growing-up working in his parent’s restaurants from a very young age. Being the supportive husband that he is, he quit his meeting planning job and joined his wife at Meeting Encore in 2011. 

His industry experience includes working on the team that managed the logistics for RIM’s (BlackBerry) global conferences. Prior to that, he worked for more than a decade planning over 700 events a year for Sea World Parks and Entertainment in Orlando Florida. His hands on operational experience allows him to better understand our customer’s needs. His strong focus and ability to diffuse situations makes him a natural in this fast-paced industry.

On weekends, you can find David working on home and garden renovations or taking a break to play ball with their dogs - Shiraz and Whiskey. Spending time with family and life-long friends are what makes him the happiest.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be - Japan… I would love to spend a few months and immerse myself in the culture

What was your favourite food as a child and why - Anything made by my grandmother

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be - Fly a plane (although my wife would never let me)
